The PHASES collection by artist Dror Benshetrit, who works in the United States, symbolizes the experience of transformation in life. It begins with a softly contoured, feminine vase that then — according to the artist’s intention — enters an experimental phase when it is shattered. These changes are made visible through blurred cracks and smoothed folds on the “broken” object, giving the piece a renewed sense of beauty.
